YOU can make a real difference in their lives with a generous gift. Making a gift to La Causa is easy and can be done in a variety of ways. A letter of receipt will be sent to you for your tax files. Making a secure online donation using your credit card is a quick and easy way to support La Causa today. La Causa is registered with Guidestar. Click on the icon below to contribute online. You do not need to have an account with PayPal to use this service.
l Contribute by Mail or Phone Simply mail your check to La Causa, Inc. - P.O. Box 04188 - Milwaukee, WI 53204. Or, you may call the Development Department at (414)902-1552.
l Tribute and Memorial Gifts Honor someone by giving a gift in their name. Recognize a special individual's birthday or anniversary, thank someone for their impact on your life, or remember a lost loved one with a Memorial gift. Whatever your reason may be, La Causa will send a lovely card to the honoree to notify them of your donation.
l Matching Gifts (Corporate) Many companies match the donations of employees with a corporate gift. When you make your donation to La Causa, contact your company's Human Resources Department for a form to submit to La Causa's Development Department.
l Planned Gifts You can invest in La Causa's future while reducing the tax burden on your estate. We urge you to consult with your attorney or professional financial advisor about maximizing the tax benefits offered by:
l In-Kind Gifts La Causa accepts in-kind donations to support our programs and participants. Please click here for a list of our current needs. La Causa's annual Celebrity Waiters fundraising event includes both live and silent auction. Donations of new and/or unique auction items are always in demand! If you would like to donate, please contact the Development Department.
l Benefit Fundraisers Many businesses, organizations and clubs choose to hold fundraisers on behalf of La Causa. Employees at a local bank, for example, hold a "Dress-down Day" on the first Friday of each month. In order to dress down, employees must bring in a donation for La Causa's Crisis Nursery. Other groups have held drives for food, diapers, toys, etc. A local university held a fashion show and forwarded proceeds to La Causa. If you are interested in implementing programs like these, please contact the Development Department.
