Treatment Services Supervisor (OPENING DATE: 4/26/11 CLOSING DATE: Extended to Until Filled)

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 
Responsible for management and supervision of the Mental Health and AODA Outpatient Clinic and its staff.
PRIMARY DUTIES: 

Legend: E = Essential / NE = Non Essential / N/A = Not Applicable    1. Receive, review and assign all referrals to the programs in a manner and timeframe consistent with each program and referral expectations. E  2. Renew and expand network agreements and funding sources including developing new sources such as insurance HMOs and Medicaid. E  3. Review and approve case planning, decision-making, and address concerns from referral sources. E  4. Ensure the accurate and timely completion and submission by clinicians of all required reports and data including assessments, consents, treatment plans, discharge summaries, evaluations, satisfaction surveys, progress notes and other documents as needed for the file. E  5. Supervise, train, manage, evaluate, monitor, and provide coverage for assigned staff and oversee and manage work of consultants . E  6. Follow and maintain compliance with legal, organizational and contractual requirements, laws and policies (i.e.; clinic license rules, file compliance, staff compliance, ). E  7. Prepare, complete and submit required items by due dates; to include, but not limited to: reports, invoices, financial records, statistical data, evaluations, Personnel Action Records, Worker’s Compensation reports and investigations. E  8. Attend all meetings, provider fairs, and professional development activities, as directed. NE  9. Perform other duties as assigned. NE

QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. Master’s Degree in Social Work 2. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience 3. Demonstrated knowledge of treatment issues. 4. Previous experience in direct provision and/or supervision of providers of mental health therapy and AODA services. 5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, interpersonal relationship skills, and able to work effectively with others from culturally diverse, linguistic and economic backgrounds; both in a team and individual environment. 6. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. 7. Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and able to respond quickly and courteously. 8. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends; based on program needs. 9. Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office. 10. Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards. 11. Must successfully complete and pass all background check requirements.

NORMAL WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Frequent physical movement to include, but not limited to: driving, walking, standing, squatting, arm movement, typing, hearing, and seeing. May be exposed to communicable diseases. Local travel required; some state-wide travel as needed. Flexible hours required; as dictated by program needs.
