Primary Function
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for providing support services (individual skill development, monitoring, wellness management, etc.), to individual’s enrolled in the CCS program, that are focused on assisting individuals reach their identified goals.
Primary Duties
PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Facilitate groups that focus on individual skill building to assist individuals and/or group attendees in reaching recovery goals. E
- Provide wellness managementservices to support individual’s ongoing recovery and physical well-being, through individual and group support. E
- Assist with developing and implementing new program ideas that support and promote the CCS model of recovery oriented services. E
- Assist with training new staff on mental health, AODA, and co-occurring disorders. E
- Provide monitoring services with the individual to promote stability. E
- Communicate with applicable stakeholders via appropriate methods (i.e.; case notes, phone, email, meetings, etc.) in a timely manner. E
- Provide transportation to adults for appointments and activities as needed. E
- Participate in development of a Recovery Plan of Care (RPOC) to support the individual’s recovery. E
- Follow legal, organizational and contractual requirements, laws and policies. E
- Complete/collect/process and/or submit required items by due dates. E
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all stakeholders. E
- Attend meetings and professional development activities. NE
- Follow all duties of a mandated reporter. E
- Perform other related duties as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Ancillary Services Specialist I - High School Diploma (HSD) or GED and minimum of three (3) years of experience providing services to individuals with significant mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring needs, i.e.; case management.
Ancillary Services Specialist II - Bachelor Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing services to individuals with significant mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring needs, i.e.; case management.
Ancillary Services Specialist III – Master Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing services to individuals with significant mental health, substance abuse, or co-occurring needs, i.e.; case management.
- Able to work and communicate frankly and effectively with adults, families, and all team members to implement problem solving strategies, understand issues, and to provide crisis services in an ethical, respectful, responsible manner.
- Able to demonstrate positive cultural intelligence with diverse groups and individuals.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with others.
- Knowledge and experience with experience in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
- Must be able to successfully pass criminal history background checks.
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on program needs.

The employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, reach, stoop, bend, and walk. Must be able to show proof (annually) of vaccination (or receive a medical/religious exemption) of Influenza.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is generally performed in field and office environments. Local travel required; some state-wide travel as needed. Flexible hours required; as dictated by program needs.
