PRIMARY FUNCTION: Working at the direction of the Director of Awareness & Engagement, responsible for developing strategies and programs to help recruit new families as well as retain current students; monitor and report on student/family temperament/climate, and work to develop plans that will ensure parents and students are satisfied with their school experience. Represent, promote, and be the school’s “Head Cheerleader”.

- Carryout all aspects of student recruitment by working closely with A&E Director and school leadership team to assist in the development and implementation of an effective awareness campaign that will help recruit new students and retain current students as well as introducing and promoting the school to the community. (i.e., Coordinate events calendar, maintain marketing/recruiting materials, attend, and represent the school at all events, etc.). Meet Annual Recruitment /Retention target goals. E
- Coordinate and execute Student Recruitment and Retention efforts including scheduling and leading tours, initiating parent surveys, hosting meet and greets, developing communications to parents, actively engaging the Parent Committee to participate in school functions and activities such as “Parent Appreciation Night, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Father Daughter Dance, Mother’s Day Celebration, etc. E
- Schedule and engage in efforts related to student retention including consistently meeting with students and parents and maintaining constant contact with families to ensure the school is meeting their needs. Developing feedback reports for leadership.
- Perform research and analyze our competitors, and develop reports providing feedback on findings, managing student tracking report, and assist with website updates, etc. E
- Responsible for fostering parental involvement, development, coordination, and participation in parent meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars; provide parents with information on community resources, coordinate educational opportunities for parents (GED, ESL, Computer Skills), develop programs and/or activities for parents that will promote school/child participation, etc. E
- Provides back-up assistance including translation/interpretation (written/oral). NE
- Attend meetings and professional development activities, as requested. E
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all stakeholders including students, parents, school staff, co-workers, etc. E
- Follow all duties of a mandated reporter. E
- Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications, and/or related field.
2. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with students and families and/or experience working in a recruiting and/or marketing capacity.
3. Experience working in a school setting (Desirable).
4. Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.
5. Must be a “People Person” with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
6. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
7. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
8. Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal
9. Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
10. Must pass all background checks.
