PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for developing plans and programs that will recruit new students and families as well as retain current students and families; Monitor and report on student/family temperament/climate, and work with Leadership Team to develop plans that will ensure parents and students are satisfied with their school experience. Represent, promote, and be the school’s “Head Cheerleader”.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Responsible for all aspects of student recruitment working with the school administrative and agency leadership team develop and implement an effective marketing plan that will help recruiting students and promote the school to the community. Develop and coordinate events calendar, maintain marketing/recruiting materials, research, coordinate, attend, and represent the school at all events; develop tracking reports, etc.). Meet Annual Recruitment /Retention target goals. E
- Responsible for handling all aspects of student Recruitment and Retention including scheduling and hosting tours, initiating parent surveys, meet and greets, developing communications to parents, actively engaging the Parent Committee to host and participate in school functions and activities such as “Parent Appreciation Night, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Mother’s Day Celebration, etc., etc.). E
- Organize and coordinate all aspects of student retention including periodically meeting with students and parents and maintaining constant contact with families to ensure the school is meeting their needs. Complete research and analyze our competitors, manage student tracking report, assist with website updates, etc.). E
- Responsible for fostering parental involvement, development, coordination, and participation in parent meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars; provide parents with information on community resources, coordinate educational opportunities for parents (GED, ESL, Computer Skills), develop programs and/or activities for parents that will promote school/child participation, etc.). E
- Provides back-up assistance for Support Services including translation/interpretation [written/oral - English/Spanish]. NE
- Attend meetings and professional development activities, as requested. E
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all stakeholders including parents, co-workers, MPS, etc.). E
- Follow all duties of a mandated reporter. E
- Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications, and/or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with students and /families and/or experience working in a recruiting and/or marketing capacity.
- Experience working in a school setting (desirable).
- Possess a great positive attitude, love working with children and adults, be outgoing and confident, and show enthusiasm every day for the important work that needs to be performed!
- Proficient bilingual (English/Spanish), oral and written.
- Able to work with diverse groups and individuals.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with others.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
- Successfully pass criminal history background checks.
- Able to work flexible hours based on program needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is generally performed in a school environment. Local travel required; some statewide travel may be necessary.
