Primary Function
Responsible for providing Basic administrative support to Department of Human Resources.
Primary Duties
- Perform administrative and services related to the department such as scanning documents, answering calls inquiries to the department, E
- Prepare, process, and follow up all employment verifications, employee references, id badges & control log, background checks, end of employment documentation and close process. E
- Assist with audits prep, tuition support request, employee data entry, and documentation into HRIS system. E
- Develop and submit reports and documents as needed. E
- Assist and help facilitate new employee orientation E
- Provide support on projects and special assignments. NE
- Perform administrative and clerical duties for the department. E
- Attend all meetings and professional development activities, as requested. NE
- Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma plus three (3) years’ experience working in a Human Resource setting. OR
- Associate Degree or equivalent (60 credits) from an accredited College or University in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or closely related field and one (1) year working in an administrative position.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Required) Qualifies for annual stipend.
- Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.
- Must be a “People Person” with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal
- Must pass all background checks.

CONDITIONS: Work is generally performed in office and meeting environments, including frequent travel. Local travel required; some state-wide travel as needed. Flexible hours required; as dictated by program needs.
