PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing a high quality, comprehensive, and appropriate robotics instructional program by introducing and instructing students on the theory, design, and implementation of elementary robotics systems and techniques.

BILINGUAL POSITIONS MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM ALL OF THE DUTIES LISTED BELOW IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH:
- Facilitate the instruction of students to include, but not limited to: history of robotics, robot construction techniques, robot navigation, manipulation, and software, elementary theory for building and manipulating robotic software and tools, machine learning techniques and algorithms, assist students in building robotics systems and to manipulate these systems (using techniques that are student/grade specific), develop students to build elementary to apply their systems to real world tasks, etc. E
- Follow legal, organizational, ethical, and contractual requirements, laws and policies (i.e.; National Core Standards, MPS Learning Targets, etc.). E
- Ensure a safe environment to prevent accidents, illness and injury and respond to fire/emergency drills and actual situations. E
- Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the program/curriculum in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the agency, contractor, State, or other applicable entity. E
- Meet and collaborate with applicable stakeholders, as needed (i.e.; teachers, social worker, parents, etc.). E
- Prepare, complete, distribute, and/or submit required items by due dates (i.e. lesson plans, grades, etc). E
- Establish and maintain good communication and cooperation with all stakeholders. NE
- Implement and/or practice the duties of a mandated reporter of suspected child abuse under current policies and procedures, as required. E
- Attend all meetings, workshops, and professional development activities, as directed. E
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration and cooperation with all stakeholders (i.e., parents, teachers, administrators, counselors, MPS, etc.) to meet the needs of students, families, and La Causa, Inc. NE
- Perform other duties as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field from an accredited University or College.
- Valid WI DPI License in applicable area or ability to obtain emergency license within 30 days of hire.
- One-year experience working with families and/or classroom experience.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to problem-solve, use critical thinking, have decision-making skills, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Good computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets, specifically with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
- Bilingual, Spanish and English, strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, interpersonal relationship skills, and able to work effectively and with respect with others from culturally diverse, linguistic and economic backgrounds; both in a team and individual environment.
- Excellent critical thinking; able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Highly developed organizational skills and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to be flexible to the staffing needs of the entire program; hours are subject to change due to fluctuating enrollment and the needs of the program.
- Transportation required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends; based on program needs
- Must successfully complete TB and drug testing, physical and background checks.

Work is generally performed in classroom and school environments. Infrequent local/state-wide travel.
