PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for managing and supervising implementation of the Treatment Foster Home Program (services to recruit, train, and license Treatment Foster Parents for children with family or behavior issues) to ensure the completion of program requirements.
Primary Duties

- Identifying, recruiting, and qualifying responsible adults to become foster or adoptive parents by developing recruitment strategies such as participating in local community and church events, assist candidates in obtaining documentation required to complete licensing process, etc. E
- Maintain all records and files related to foster parent trainings, contacts, plan and deliver foster care licensing trainings, facilitate ongoing support groups, and maintain an ongoing training schedule for foster parents. E
- Maintain compliance and safety for children and families such as up-to-date case information, complete SAFE Home Study Assessments, complete background checks on foster care licensing candidates, perform foster care licensing home visits, ensure licensing compliance, complete re-licensing/licensing maintenance, and other changes, etc.). E
- Assist with foster care placements (assess treatment needs, provide therapeutic services, assist in problem solving efforts and treatment issues/conflicts affecting the placement of the child, participate in the review of children referred for placement for matching purposes, etc.) NE
- Coordinate foster care support to include developing and implementing treatment plan, providing crisis intervention services, provide on-call support, etc. NE
- Attend meetings and professional development activities, as required. E
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all parents, co-workers, etc. E
- Follow all duties of a mandated reporter. E
- Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree from an accredited school in Social Work required.
- One (1) year of practical supervisory experience; including supervision of staff required.
- Three (3) years of direct service experience required.
- Valid State Licensure (APSW, LCSW, PPC or LMFI) required.
- Able to demonstrate positive cultural intelligence with diverse groups and individuals.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with others.
- Knowledge and experience with experience in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
- Must be able to successfully pass criminal history background checks.
- 11. Must be able to work flexible hours based on program needs.
