“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.” ― Carl R. Rogers

I have over ten years of mental health experience in supporting youth, young adults, and families in coordinating services and building realistic treatment plans, identifying their strengths, as well as empowering them and advocating on their behalf during system involvement.

As a Professional Licensed Counselor – In Training, I believe that everyone has the capacity to make change within themselves, and that every individual is the expert on themselves. Together, we will work alongside one another to develop treatment goals through person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I value the trust and vulnerability in the relationship with the individual and the therapist.

I am a dedicated dog mom and partner. I enjoy kayaking, camping, reading, exploring new music, and trying to have a green thumb! I became a therapist to serve individuals in providing a safe, supportive environment to express themselves openly and support them in realizing the strength within themselves.

Rosalina Solórzano, MSW, LCSW, SAC-IT

Bilingual: English/Spanish

I work with individuals experiencing a variety of issues including mood/anxiety disorders; substance use; anger management; stress management; family/interpersonal relationship concerns; adjustment/life transitions; shame; and trauma.

I offer a warm, accepting, and caring space where individuals can explore their issues/concerns and work through them in a relaxed and casual fashion through a holistic approach. I provide individualized care by integrating elements of client-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, strengths-based, psychodynamic, psychoeducational, and trauma-informed modalities. My goal is to encourage change and growth based on clients’ level of readiness to change.

Rosalina enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, outdoors/nature, walks/hiking, road trips, and traveling.
